Rocket Fulfilment was established in 2017. We offer potential clients the opportunity to outsource their e-commerce order fulfilment by integrating seamlessly with their websites. What does this mean? In essence, we hold our client’s stock at our warehouse and dispatch their web orders on their behalf, as and when they are received. The most vital aspect of our role is to ensure that our client’s stock is extremely well organised in order to achieve maximum efficiency and accuracy when picking, packing and dispatching orders.

Overview
We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Packer to join our warehouse team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that products are accurately packed and prepared for shipment. This position requires a strong commitment to quality control and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Pack products securely and efficiently for shipping, ensuring all items are protected during transit.
- Perform quality control checks on items before packing to guarantee they meet company standards.
- Load and unload goods from lorries, ensuring proper handling techniques are employed to prevent damage.
- Maintain an organised workspace, adhering to health and safety regulations at all times.
- Utilise warehouse management systems for tracking inventory and managing stock levels effectively.
- Assist with picking and packing orders as required, ensuring accuracy in fulfilling customer requests.
- Collaborate with team members to optimise workflow and improve packing processes.
- Processing of returns.
- Booking products into stock upon receipt of deliveries.
- Completion of ad hoc duties as and when they arise.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse or packing environment is preferred.
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely.
- Proficient in using warehouse management systems for efficient stock management.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively in a busy environment.
